Dynamic Secure Mesh for Collaborative Nodes of IoT Devices

초록

The ESP-NOW protocol on ESP32 MCUs with MicroPython firmware can create a system of smart IoT nodes based on dynamic secure mesh networks. Collaboration between static and mobile nodes is achieved through connectionless communication. A layered IoT architecture helps model, design, and implement the system. The mesh is secured by node authentication mechanism. Brokerless publish/subscribe message passing is used for message exchange. A mesh-to-cloud setup using UART communication between two nodes is proposed. The dynamic mesh network together with dynamic scripting can create an environment for smart IoT AI-enabled systems that is reliable, efficient, maintainable, and cost-effective.
