This article offers an in-depth analysis of current advances and challenges in digital forensics applied to Android devices, a field in constant evolution. Based on a comprehensive literature review, we identify the limitations of existing methods and tools, and propose an innovative framework to improve the efficiency and accuracy of digital investigations. Our comparative analysis of the main Android forensic tools highlights their strengths and weaknesses, and provides practical recommendations for professionals on their use in real-life contexts.This work contributes to Android digital forensics research by suggesting new approaches to overcoming obstacles linked to the diversity of Android versions, enhanced security measures, and the growing complexity of stored data. The results of this study are directly applicable in forensic investigations, and pave the way for future research aimed at improving the standardization of procedures and the adaptability of forensic tools.
