The combination of reverse engineering and 3D printing technology makes 3D printing technology more and more widely used in the manufacturing field. This article starts with the collection of point cloud data in reverse engineering, completes reverse modeling, 3D printing, cast molding simulation and casting molding and compares actual prototypes with experiments. The application of reverse engineering and 3D printing technology in product innovation design is promoted.
