This paper delves into the challenges of performance testing for heterogeneous relational database management systems (RDBMS) and develops a highly flexible general-purpose relational database performance testing tool based on the Transaction Processing Performance Council TPC-C benchmark. The innovation of this tool lies in its ability to adapt to diverse testing requirements, achieving broad applicability to various relational databases through distributed load generation and rich user scenario configuration. The tool not only provides precise performance data based on the TPC-C standard but also offers robust data support for database performance optimization during the testing process through automated test data preparation and intuitive visualization of the testing process. These features enable the tool to be flexibly configured for specific user needs in practical applications, thus holding broad prospects in the field of performance testing.
