A Study on the Impact of Big Data Complexity Technostress on Data Management Capabilities

Data management capabilities are crucial for employees to improve their competitiveness in the big data and artificial intelligence era. While the factors that affect technostress have received extensive attention, more research is needed to explain how big data complexity technostress affects data management capabilities. This study explores the impact of big data complexity technostress on data management capabilities. The survey method was used to collect data. Hierarchical regression models were constructed to test the hypotheses. Research results show that (1) big data complexity technostress negatively affects data management capabilities, and (2) big data technology control negatively moderates the relationship between big data complexity technostress and data management capabilities. It extends the research literature on big data complexity technostress and the stress process model.
