Method of Determining the Required Number of Database Nodes in a Distributed Data Processing System

We developed a method of determining the required number of database nodes, which is based on the mechanism of determining the weight coefficient of query types. It allows to obtain the required number of database nodes in a distributed system in order to meet the requirements for query processing parameters and increase their processing speed. This method allows to qualitatively and quantitatively determine the number of database nodes for a given set of a distributed data processing system parameters, that will provide the fastest query processing.
