The Role of AI in Transforming the Dimensions of Governance

With the advancement in Artificial intelligence (AI), the pursuit for coming in the list of advanced nation become expedient, in which its application in public governance system plays a crucial role. The present study focuses upon the role of AI in improving the existing governance system inculcating Sustainable Development Goal (SDG’s), on which development of the nation is relied upon. The extant literature presents the intervention of technology in the three main components of governance-Decision Making, Fake News Detection, Public Service System. The evaluation also focuses on the scope for effective adoption of technology by presenting recommendations on several grey areas of governance. Eventually, there is always an opportunity for advancement, and this holds true in context of AI. The application of AI in existing governance is still in nascent phase, and because of those further studies and research are encouraged, for extracting maximum advantages from technology.
