Implementation and Performance Analysis of Communication Encryption API in Distributed Database Systems

With the rapid development of information technology, distributed database systems play an important role in large-scale data processing and storage. However, along with it, there is an increasing concern about data security and privacy. In order to protect the confidentiality and integrity of data, the use of communication encryption in distributed database systems has become a necessary option. The aim of this paper is to explore the design, implementation and performance analysis of communication encryption APIs in distributed database systems. First, the design and implementation of encryption APIs are introduced by outlining various encryption methods and API design principles. Then, the application of encryption APIs in data transmission, storage and real-time communication is analyzed with practical examples. Then, the performance of encryption APIs is comprehensively analyzed through experimental settings and performance evaluation metrics, and performance optimization strategies are proposed. Finally, the main findings of the research are summarized and the directions for future research are discussed. The aim of this paper is to provide theoretical and practical guidance for secure communication in distributed database systems to meet the growing data security challenges.
