Conventional design and optimization of student information management database focuses on data storage and retrieval, ignoring data relevance and business logic processing, which affects the efficiency of database operation. Therefore, a Hibernate based student information management database and optimization method are designed. Design the database structure of student information management, set database table names, field names, data types, constraints and other structures to ensure the integrity of database design. The logical model of student information management database is established based on Hibernate, and data constraints and Hibernate mapping are used to avoid database redundancy. Optimize the execution rules of student information management database, use Hibernate’s characteristics, adjust the database operation strategy, and make the database performance meet the information management requirements. Through comparative experiments, it is verified that the database design and optimization performance of this method is better and can be applied in real life.
