Future's Backbone Network Monitoring With Metadata in Data Warehouse for Telecom Industry

This paper presents Data flow from the backbone network to the data warehouse for tomorrow's network monitoring by real-time data analysis with metadata quality management for the Telecom industry. Real-time data are collected from backbone devices to the staging server's SFTP location from Incidence Monitoring tools (Which are directly or indirectly connected from backbone devices by SNMP). Metadata management is a central part of the data analysis process. Metadata may contain information about the schema of the data so that the data can be transformed into quarriable data objects when required.
