Multi-terminal Differential Protection Based on Composite Criterion for T-connected Distribution Network with Inverter Interfaced Distributed Generator

초록

The access of inverter interfaced distributed generator (IIDG) challenges the protection configuration of traditional distribution network. In this paper, a composite criterion of multi-terminal differential protection for T-connected distribution networks is proposed. Firstly, the impact of IIDG on relay protection of distribution network is analyzed, and the problems of two differential protection criteria with IIDG integration are studied. Then, based on the control strategy and output characteristics of IIDG, a multi-terminal current differential protection with composite criterion applicable to IIDG accessing distribution network is proposed. Finally, the T-connected distribution network model of IIDG is constructed in the simulation software, and the action characteristics of the newly proposed multi-terminal differential protection based on composite criterion is simulated and analyzed under different fault types and fault locations.
