This study proposes an e-waste management solution by employing blockchain technology for the efficient tracing and tracking of electronic waste. The primary aim of this research study is to establish a robust system that maintains accurate records of e-waste transactions between buyers and sellers while ensuring adherence to government-regulated pricing. This addresses the critical need to prevent the resale of e-waste at prices exceeding allocated government rates. The proposed system comprises essential modules, including a User Authentication Module for secure access, Smart Contract Implementation to automate pricing regulations, E-waste Transaction Recording Module utilizing blockchain for transparency, Payment Tracking Module for financial accountability, and a Compliance Monitoring Module to ensure adherence to government standards. By leveraging blockchain’s inherent characteristics of transparency and immutability, the system provides an unalterable ledger of e-waste transactions, discouraging fraudulent activities. The integration of smart contracts automates the validation and execution of transactions, preventing the unauthorized sale of e-waste at inflated prices.
