In contemporary China, as the economy and living standards continue to advance, factors beyond economic and market value, such as design, cultural, and creative values, are gaining prominence in the realm of jadeite jewelry. Therefore, this study aims to explore an innovative decision method for jadeite jewelry products based on fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (fuzzy AHP), using jadeite products from the Lingnan region as specimens, which houses China's largest jadeite industry. Employing the quantitative and qualitative method of fuzzy AHP, this integrated approach analyzes information from literature data related to jadeite jade. It extracts potentially significant factors to construct the AHP judgmental model. Subsequently, the fuzzy AHP method is applied by an expert team to determine the weights of different criteria. Finally, a case study evaluates jadeite jewelry product specimens provided by manufacturers, incorporating criteria and results from the fuzzy AHP method. The comprehensive evaluation outcomes are then scrutinized through a comparative analysis of different evaluation methods for validation. This approach of fuzzy multi criteria decision-making provides insights into comprehensively assessing the market and economic values, design aesthetics, and cultural semantics of jadeite jewelry products. It contributes to an innovative, meaningful, and referential application study for the design, development, and management of the jadeite jewelry-related field.
