초록

Cryptocurrency wallets are essential for managing cryptographic keys and interacting with blockchain networks. This paper explores the security of Ethereum wallets, focusing on cryptographic foundations such as elliptic curve cryptography (SECP256K1) and the Keccak-256 hash function, while also analyzing threats posed by emerging technologies like Big Data analytics and quantum computing. Case studies, including the Wintermute hack exploiting vulnerabilities in tools like Profanity, highlight weaknesses in random number generation and vanity address creation. Using Google BigQuery, the study evaluates large-scale blockchain analysis for identifying private keys and examines GPU-based parallel processing for brute-force attacks. While Ethereum’s vast key-address space provides strong theoretical security, advancements in quantum and cloud computing introduce new challenges, underscoring the need for continuous monitoring and adaptation.
