The widespread adoption of cloud computing has created new opportunities but also introduced significant security challenges. This research focuses on addressing the critical issue of data security in cloud computing environments. Traditional security measures, such as encryption, are not always sufficient to protect data in cloud-based systems. This study proposes a novel approach that leverages blockchain technology to enhance data security and privacy. By integrating blockchain into cloud computing infrastructure, the proposed solution aims to address the challenges of data confidentiality, authentication, and integrity. This research study explores the potential of blockchain-based methodologies to safeguard APIs and network interfaces, reducing the risks of malicious activities, accidental breaches, and violations of service agreements. Additionally, the study addresses the complexities of multi-tenancy, which can pose threats to data confidentiality and integrity in shared cloud environments. The primary objective of this research is to create a secure and dependable computing environment for cloud computing service users, fostering trust and confidence in cloud-based solutions. By addressing critical data security and privacy concerns, this research contributes to the continued growth and adoption of cloud computing services.
