An innovative Internet of Things (IoT) solution is designed to improve patient monitoring in healthcare settings. The proposed system presents an Internet of Things (IoT)-based solution to address a critical challenge in healthcare: continuous and reliable monitoring of saline levels for intravenous (IV) therapy. The system employs a network of sensors to measure and track vital data points such as saline bottle weight, patient heart rate, and ambient temperature. These parameters are integrated into a centralized platform using ThingSpeak for real-time analytics and alerts. By automating saline monitoring, the system mitigates risks such as blood backflow and air embolism while improving patient safety and treatment outcomes. The core components of this system include the ESP8266 micro controller, load cell, HW-827 heartbeat sensor, and LM35 temperature sensor, all working in unison to deliver precise and actionable data. This research demonstrates a cost-effective, scalable, and efficient IoT -based solution that ensures timely medical interventions, paving the way for smarter health care systems.
