The current geopolitical landscape has been driving different authorities to consider technical studies for more efficient transport of goods by water. This article explores the approach of a technical study for increasing the navigation depth using mathematical modeling describing the data, type of models, scenarios, and interpretation of results. It also showcases a pilot study for Sulina Bar in the Black Sea.
