This paper discusses the development and initial deployment of two educational games, Clean Water and Poultry Farming, adapted from Innov8 Africa’s life skills curriculum for rural Kenyan schools. Grounded in game-based learning (GBL) and human-computer interaction (HCI) principles, these modules address critical challenges such as water scarcity and food insecurity while emphasizing financial literacy, entrepreneurial thinking, and basic mathematics. Technical implementation leverages the Love2D engine on Endless OS machines powered by solar energy, ensuring usability in low-resource settings. By providing hands-on, context-driven learning experiences, this work demonstrates the potential of GBL to foster sustainable community development in under-resourced educational environments.
