According to Good Stats, e-wallet users will increase by 300% in early 2021. The use of e-wallets is very popular with the public, especially millennials and Gen Z at this time. Convenience, efficiency, and effectiveness are added values in using e-wallets. The existence of consumptive behavior driven by the development of e-commerce has also affected the increase in the number of e-wallet users. Based on the results of previous research, various insights can be taken as references in this study. However, the authors found gaps in several previous studies which became the reason for the authors to look for what factors influence students in choosing and using certain e-wallet platforms. This research was conducted using a qualitative method where the Google Form questionnaire was distributed using the snowball sampling technique. There are 6 variables in this study with 4 indicators on each variable. 101 students filled out the research questionnaire. Based on this data, it is known that 98% of them are e-wallet users. The results of the study state that security and trend have the greatest influence on e-wallet interest and e-wallet platform awareness. The results of our research are useful for companies engaged in digital payments or e-wallets to increase profits.
