The integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education with ubiquitous learning has become increasingly important in recent years. However, the lack of readily available collaboration opportunities poses a challenge to this integration. This study explores the development of a LINE chatbot powered by Google's Gemini language model as a potential solution to provide learners with virtual peer collaboration opportunities. The chatbot system's architecture combines Heroku's cloud-based deployment, containerization, Gunicorn's web server, Flask's web framework, and Firebase's real-time database to ensure scalability, maintainability, and a seamless user experience. The LINE messaging platform provides a familiar and accessible interface for users to interact with the chatbot. While this approach shows promise in enhancing STEM education and ubiquitous learning, further research is needed to validate its effectiveness and address the challenges associated with implementing AI-assisted learning tools in educational settings. This study contributes to the ongoing exploration of innovative solutions to bridge the gap between STEM education and ubiquitous learning, paving the way for future research and development in this field.
