The applications earlier used, have monolithic architecture, and show low scalability and cost management. The enhanced capabilities of cloud computing, viz. containerization, elastic scaling, managed services, optimized resource utilization and fault tolerance, help software developers to develop more robust, scalable, and reliable applications. The cost-effective infrastructure services provided by cloud service providers minimize the complexities associated with the operations of monolithic applications. This paper proposes a novel architecture and solution which could overcome the limitations associated with monolithic applications. The Proposed architecture is the fusion of microservices and cloud computing for the deployment and development of applications. Primarily this research reveals the merits of employing microservices architecture and the challenges that shall be addressed while the deployment of microservices on a cloud environment. These challenges encompass the need for meticulous service decomposition, efficient management of inter-service communication, and the heightened complexity of distributed systems. Furthermore, the deployment of microservices on the cloud necessitates careful consideration of security and data privacy to safeguard sensitive information.
