초록

While Agile Software Development (ASD) has been embraced by software development teams and helps them to focus on customer value, ASD also faces challenges related to requirements changes and technical debt. While conceptual models may help to mitigate this challenges, conceptual modelling is not a common Agile practices. As practitioners recognize the importance of conceptual models for enhancing requirement understanding, their ability to represent different aspects of software (data, functional, behavior), and the effectiveness of domain-driven development in agile environments, we propose to develop a framework to integrate the practice of conceptual modelling in ASD as a solution to the main challenges that ASD faces: requirements management and technical debt. The research follows the Design Science Research framework from Peffers respecting the seven guidelines proposed by Hevner. This is a research project that is still in the beginning stages. We are providing a summary of the first result from the project’s first phase.
