This research looks into the data storage security in Docker. Containerized environment are composed of many parts of the software. The software checks in these environment take place automatically which can be prone to errors. This research focuses on the security aspect and impact of PCI compliance in storing data in Docker containers hosted on cloud servers or locally on physical servers or virtual machines. Dockers store sensitive information. The biggest challenge is understanding how to abide by PCI compliance. Docker Swarm has been used to secure an environment. This research looks into alternate solutions for securing the Docker environment.
