Demand for computational resources is increasing in the classroom, and instructors want to train users on real-world problems by providing access to the latest resources. The Open OnDemand Connector for Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) is built on top of Open OnDemand (OOD), a web-based platform for accessing and managing Cluster and Cloud resources. In this paper, we have discussed how to leverage the power of Kubernetes and the flexibility of Open OnDemand to deploy a complex cloud-native solution using containerized applications, such as Jupyter, in a secure, scalable, and efficient manner.
