Addressing Security Issues during Decomposing Golang Monolithic Applications into Microservices through Code Analysis

Microservice Architecture (MSA) technology is gaining increasing attention and being widely adopted across industries which provides the advantage of promoting faster development and deployment in DevOps. Under these circumstances, migrating legacy monolithic systems into microservices has become a hot topic among industries, the most discussed approach is to rebuild or refactor the legacy system to microservice-based architecture. With the trend of microservice and security, numerous research on microservice security analysis has been proposed. This research analyzes the available security vulnerabilities throughout the process of migration states for static code analysis and states that more investigation and research are needed for migrated microservices security.
