Adapting educational approaches to modern tech-nologies is imperative for universities and educational institutions. This article dives into the integration of Docker into educational curricula to enrich the learning experience for students in IT education and related fields. Compared to traditional vir-tual machines., Docker offers lightweight and swift deployment., simplifying the encapsulation of applications and their depend-encies into containers. By incorporating Docker into the curriculum., students gain practical insights into application development., deployment., and management within simulated real-world environments. The article presents case studies highlighting Docker's implementation in educational settings., including its use in stand-ardizing programming environments., reducing students' anxi-ety levels., and enhancing cybersecurity education. These studies showcase Docker's efficiency in streamlining the setup process., ensuring consistency., and fostering collaboration among stu-dents. Furthermore., the research findings underscore Docker's versatility in facilitating diverse learning methodologies and its potential to revolutionize educational practices. While Docker integration presents various benefits., the arti-cle acknowledges potential limitations., such as security risks as-sociated with public repositories and challenges pertaining to the lack of graphical user interfaces (GUI) and resource man-agement. Despite these limitations., Docker emerges as a trans-formative tool for modernizing educational curricula and pre-paring students for the dynamic landscape of IT.
