Research on Agile Software Upgrade Method for Spacecraft Onboard Equipment

Aiming at the issue that spacecraft cannot upgrade software for multiple standalone pieces of equipment without disassembly, this paper studies agile upgrade method for spacecraft onboard equipment. An online software upgrade solution was designed, with detailed elaboration of software upgrade process. The online upgrade verification was completed for multiple single-unit equipment using 1/4/10M 1553 (B) as the external interface and RS422/RS485 as the internal bus. Experiment results demonstrate that the proposed scheme has the advantages of high system compatibility, high reliability as well as high data rate. It is adaptable to multiple-bus interfaces and can greatly shorten the software upgrade time.
