GPR imaging characterization of the evolution of water erosion degradation in loess dams

초록

[Purpose] The study of the deformation, cracks and defects of the dams formed by water erosion in the loess area are of great practical importance. Current dam crack and seepage detection methods have limitations such as low efficiency and passivity. [Methods] In this paper, based on the GPR (GPR) monitoring method for the water erosion expansion process of dam cracks, the study revealing the imaging characteristics and patterns of the water erosion degradation process of solidified loess cracks based on the GPR method, and providing a theoretical basis for the positive inversion and deduction of the actual data measured by GPR. [Results] The results are as follows: the relative dielectric constant of the slit filler increases, the radar reflected wave arc top wave amplitude is enhanced; the slit opening increases, the overall reflective hyperbolic hyperbolic opening increases and the wave amplitude is enhanced. [Conclusion] The above results can provide a theoretical basis and technical support for the practical detection of the disease problem of water erosion of yellow earth in similar projects.
