The vulnerability assessment of active distribution network considering distributed generation uncertainty, compared with the traditional methods, is more consistent with the characteristics of the contemporary power network system and beneficial to the system security and stability. The influence of the random power output of distributed photovoltaic (PV) power generation on the vulnerability of active distribution network is studied in this paper. A clearance model is established to predict the PV output under different weather types. The vulnerability is analyzed from two aspects of structure and state, with the improved Gini coefficient as the structural vulnerability index and three risk indexes weighted as the state vulnerability index. Combining different time sections, a synthesized vulnerability index for active distribution network is obtained. The vulnerability assessment of IEEE 33-node system is conducted to verify the proposed method.
