The purpose of this research article is to offer a prototype for an industrial safety protection system that makes use of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. Industrial disasters can have devastating results, resulting in loss of life and long-term environmental damage. The lack of adequate protective mechanisms in power plant-based enterprises is a critical issue, and this study presents a remedy. The proposed model incorporates gas sensors, temperature sensors, and flame sensors to continuously monitor the environment, operate exhaust fans, and notify appropriate authorities in the event of a leak. Furthermore, an ESP32-based camera system identifies human activity using machine learning and provides all pertinent data to workers via an LCD panel and buzzer, while higher authorities receive alerts via the cloud. The study demonstrates the usefulness of IoT-based safety prevention systems in minimizing the likelihood and severity of industrial mishaps. The article concludes that the proposed prototype contributes significantly to industrial safety and can be applied to other industries, delivering a safer working environment for all stakeholders.
