This paper introduces the utilization of spiral windings for converting the electromagnetic field of an incident on an antenna pulse electromagnetic waves into electrical signals at the output of the UWB impulse antenna. Employing mathematical modeling via the Finite-Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method, we investigated the transient response of the receiving antenna when an incident pulsed signal has a step-like amplitude-time dependence. We studied the impact of geometric parameters of the windings and load resistance on the amplitude-time and energy characteristics of a wideband pulsed-receiving ferrite antenna.
