Speech has been the catalyst in the human development. Being the natural form of communication, it directly affects the human life. Speech disability is found in many forms. Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) can be a very good technology in developing the interfaces that will aid speech disabled person. This research paper gives the review on Speech Recognition; special focus is on Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) System for the speech disability found in persons suffering with Cerebral Palsy.
