The nodes in the distribution system are important convergence points for power transmission. Failure of vulnerable nodes plays an important role in the propagation of grid incidents. A node vulnerability assessment method for distribution system is proposed in this paper to solve the problems of single indicator and one-sided weights. First, the key factors affecting node vulnerability are analyzed from the operation state and network structure of the distribution system. Operation vulnerability indicators and structure vulnerability indicators are selected to construct the assessment indicator system. Then, the subjective and objective weights obtained from analytic hierarchy process method and criteria importance though intercrieria correlation method were used to determine the combined weights. Finally, a multi-criteria decision making method is used to calculate the benefit ratio of each node for node vulnerability ranking. The IEEE 33-bus system proves the rationality and validity of the proposed indicator system and assessment method.
