Mobile Technology Security Concerns and NESAS as a Solution

Mobile technology has become ubiquitous in our lives. It supports worldwide connectivity to devices and the Internet of Things (IoT). The new and innovative development of 5G network technologies offers many opportunities, but it also brings security challenges. The authors present a general overview of mobile technology elements regarding security issues, including GSM and 5G. Moreover, the Network Equipment Security Assurance Scheme - a reasonable solution to handle the security issues related to these technologies, is also discussed in this paper.
