This work presents studies of electromagnetic compatibility between fifth-generation new radio technologies (5G NR) and ultra-wide bandwidth technologies (UWB) operating in the frequency band 6425–7125 MHz. The study evaluates aggregate interference from UWB devices to 5G NR indoor small cells networks for the indoor-indoor scenario. Based on the simulation studies throughput loss of 5G NR downlink and uplink was calculated for different UWB activity factors and a different number of active UWB transmitters acting as interfering links in simulations.
