Waveform Design and Implementation of Radar Communication Integration based on Software Defined Radio

In order to cope with the growing demand for radio spectrum resources in military and civilian fields, and realize the fusion technology of radar and communication, based on the different requirements of radar and communication and the complexity of signal processing, a waveform design of radar and communication integration based on software defined radio (SDR) was proposed and realized by hardware. Firstly, combined with Long Range Radio (LoRa) modulation technology, the waveform design based on pulse radar communication integration was completed. Then, the hardware platform was built by combining the FPGA board and the RF transceiver board AD9361, and the hardware implementation of the integrated radar and communication algorithm was completed. Finally, through the actual measurement, it is verified that the software radio platform can well realize the transmission and reception of radar communication integrated signal based on LoRa modulation.
