In order to conduct Experimental Study of Electromagnetic Pulse coupling Characteristics and Protection for Airborne Antenna, the protection of an ultra-shortwave antenna is studied. Experimental Study on electromagnetic pulse coupling of airborne antenna is carried out, and the protection circuit is designed. At last, experimental research on performance of electromagnetic pulse protection circuit is carried out. the experimental results indicate: when the axes of ultra-shortwave antenna is in line with the field polarization direction,the antenna has maximum coupling voltage peak; the circuit designed on the basis of experimental Study of electromagnetic pulse coupling of airborne antenna meets requirements of the protection.
