A High Fidelity Time-domain Disk-cone Antenna for Electromagnetic Pulse Measuring

초록

A high fidelity time-domain disk-cone antenna is proposed in this letter for electromagnetic pulse measuring. The proposed antenna is formed by a disk, a lower cone, an upper cone and a coaxial cable feed. Different from the traditional disk-cone antenna, a small upper cone is added between the disk and lower cone in order to improve the antenna's capacitance distribution and realize impedance matching. With further optimization, the proposed antenna has good broadband characterristics and high pulse fidelity, which makes itself a good candidate for electromagnetic pulse measuring.
