Development of Threats and Vulnerability Assessment Model for Electric Vehicles (EVs) Transportation Internet of Things (T-IoT)

초록

This paper develops a threat and vulnerability assessment model for Electric Vehicles (EVs) in the T-IoT environment, primarily addressing threats from Internet of Things (IoT) devices, sensors, and network communication. It reviews existing threat modelling and vulnerability assessment methods and assesses them in terms of the cyber threats of hacking and data breaches. Explicitly adapting these approaches to EV systems, the study develops a model that identifies and mitigates risks based on these approaches. This model has been tested and confirmed to enhance threat detection and prevention efforts in strengthening EV security within modern transportation networks.
