With the gradual promotion of the application of the BeiDou-3 system, the BeiDou RDSS function is being used more and more widely in industries such as border defense, meteorology, transportation, aviation, and emergency search and rescue. This has brought tremendous pressure to the BeiDou Ground Station. Therefore, it is particularly important to optimize the allocation of ground station inbound channels resources. Aiming at the problem of channels congestion during the peak period of inbound traffic, this paper proposes an inbound channels resource allocation method based on an improved genetic algorithm. Firstly, based on the inbound users information data, a multi-objective optimization model for inbound channels allocation is constructed. Subsequently, the improved genetic algorithm model is introduced to calculate the optimal decision. The experimental results show that the algorithm can minimize the system delay and the channels utilization standard deviation while meeting users requirements, provide users with faster inbound services, and has low complexity, which can effectively alleviate the congestion problem during inbound peak hours.
