A Study on the Application of Tang Dynasty Copper Mirror Patterns Based on Shape Grammar and Computer Vision Technology

In order to solve the problem of insufficient innovation in the inheritance and development of Tang Dynasty copper mirror patterns today, this paper aims to discuss the application of Tang Dynasty copper mirror patterns in modern design.The study first used Photoshop tracing to extract the pattern primitives of Tang Dynasty bronze mirrors, and created new cultural values by combining traditional art with modern aesthetics through shape grammar and computer 3D visualization technology. The method not only provides a new way for the modern transformation of Tang Dynasty bronze mirror patterns, but also has a far-reaching impact on cultural inheritance and the development of new quality design power.
