SecureVote leverages on blockchain technology to create a reliable and transparent environment for internet elections. It does away with paper-based polling systems and makes it possible for the society to cast its votes anywhere on the web. The adoption of blockchain technology in SecureVote ensures that fairness is maintained during the voting process, and eliminates cases such as multiple voting, and attracts more voters towards voting. The advantages include enhanced effectiveness, minimal mistakes and possibility of training students why they should be good citizens In conclusion, SecureVote will help to promote democracy and give the citizenry the confidence to contribute in building a better country.
