Cyber-attacks are becoming more sophisticated, as attackers take advantage of vulnerabilities in centralized systems around the clock to cause data breaches, malware, and unauthorized access. Blockchain technology, with its decentralized and, tamper-evident ledger nature, offers cutting edge approaches to enhance cybersecurity mechanisms. By spreading data across multiple nodes and supporting immutable records, blockchain effectively reduces a number of risks inherent in conventional centralized security systems. This research investigates the use of blockchain technology for cybersecurity, identifying its potential to protect digital identities, secure Internet of Things (IoT) devices, enhance data integrity, and enhance privacy. Specific use cases, including blockchain-based identity management, secure communication, and malware detection method, are defined to show how blockchain can potentially transform conventional cybersecurity methods. In terms of privacy and security, blockchain technology-based solutions can potentially be superior to the current IoT ecosystem that depends significantly on centralized cloud computing paradigms and service providers. This paper argues that the decentralized aspect of Blockchain will ensure that it is not vulnerable to manipulation and forgery by hackers using real-world examples and practical implications. The dependency of the blockchain on access and identity management platforms in order to overcome some of the primary challenges inherent in IoT security is also addressed in particular. Furthermore, problems, including scalability, energy consumption, and compatibility with existing infrastructure, are examined, offering a general view of the potential place of the blockchain in secure future digital worlds.
