Self-erasable and rewritable photonic platform for anti-tamper hardware

초록

We demonstrate a self-erasable/rewritable photonic platform based on strain engineering of WSe2 monolayer. By utilizing underlying photoactivated organic molecules, we generate large (>1%) strain that results in dramatic shift in photoluminescence. Such reversible spectral shift has promising applications in self-destructible data and anti-tamper hardware.
