Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) is used for distributing and generating secret quantum keys between nodes, enabling secure communication through exchanged keys. The development of quantum networks requires the implementation of a complex system capable of ensuring secure communication in the era of quantum computing. Deploying these networks entails substantial financial, human, and technical resources. In this context, simulation tools for quantum networks are crucial. They provide a critical platform for validating theoretical models, optimizing network architecture, and anticipating potential security vulnerabilities without the extensive costs associated with physical deployment. Current research on simulation tools and QKD networks does not involve the integration of multiple simulation tools. Presenting functionalities through a single simulation tool results in poor abstraction of functionalities and elements of QKD network architecture layers. This research introduces the integration of three simulation tools to construct a comprehensive model, demonstrating enhanced functionalities and the benefits of tool synergies for holistic simulations.
