In this paper discusses the issues of protection against unauthorized access to information and telecommunication systems using quantum cryptography methods, providing a high security for streaming information. The basic procedures for channel key distribution and coding photons in a quantum communication channel with quantum key distribution are described. A comparative analysis of key distribution schemes using phase coding is carried out and schemes benefits and disadvantages are explained. Possible options of random basis choosing for systems with quantum key distribution are considered. Computer simulation of quantum key distribution process has been carried out, which makes it possible to reproduce, visualize quantum key distribution process and investigate the effect of errors in the quantum channel on the key generation rate. The resulting dependence of the key generation rate on the number of errors in the key.
