This study investigates the optimization of Quality of Service (QoS) and energy efficiency in Jakarta's retail sector by analyzing the performance of three VPN encryption protocols—OpenVPN, L2TP/IPSec, and IKEV2/IPSec—in hybrid cloud networks. The findings reveal that IKEV2/IPSec consistently excels in all QoS metrics, including latency, throughput, and packet loss, establishing it as the superior choice for hybrid cloud connections in complex business environments. The research underscores IKEV2/IPSec's substantial impact on network performance, leading to a more stable and efficient infrastructure essential for the operational needs of retail companies. By implementing IKEV2/IPSec, retail businesses can enhance their IT infrastructure, resulting in improved operational efficiency, greater energy savings, and better service quality. Ultimately, this study offers valuable insights for retail companies in Jakarta, emphasizing the protocol's potential to foster cost savings, boost productivity, and create a robust network adaptable to the evolving demands of the retail industry.
