Information and Energy Networks Collaboration Architecture and Key Technologies for Large-scale Consumption of Renewable Energy

초록

The renewable energy industry, represented by solar and wind, is in the stage of rapid development. However, due to the randomness and volatility of renewable energy generation, the large-scale consumption of renewable energy has become a huge challenge for the construction and operation of energy networks. Meanwhile, with the deepening of digital transformation in the whole society, the demand for electricity in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry has significantly increased. It is worth noting that the energy consumption of information networks is flexible and adjustable, which is able to effectively match the randomness and volatility of renewable energy generation. Therefore, deep cooperation between information networks and energy networks takes full advantage of real-time and non-real-time traffic features of information network, centralized to distributed processing architecture, and computing power network layout of "east data, west computing", achieving bidirectional optimization matching between information network energy utilization and energy network renewable energy supply, which not only helps promote the sustainable development of the ICT industry, but also promotes the large-scale consumption of renewable energy. This paper discusses the hierarchical and deep collaborative architecture of the information energy network, and analyzes the key technologies and potential benefits of joint optimization of information and energy, which provides a promising future for sustainable development.
