The demand for blockchain technology has increased due to its potential to enhance security, transparency, and efficiency across various industries, including finance, supply chain, and real estate. As the Indian real estate industry continues to develop, it significantly contributes to national economic growth, urbanization and employment opportunities across the country. Blockchain technology can provide a potential solution to the issues surrounding India’s real estate document processing, through a secure, transparent and immutable ledger to validate ownership, accelerate transactions, and reduce fraud and disputes. The real estate industry, which comprises of complex transactions and companies with significantly high value, faces significant challenges in security, transparency and efficiency. In this paper, we present QuadGuard, a novel and secure architecture for processing on-the-blockchain real estate transactions. QuadGuard opts for a modular architecture and employs a four-step verification smart contract. Built to secure real-estate transactions with a promise of transparency and operational excellence, “QuadGuard” seeks to revolutionize the real estate landscape. The studies in this paper will ensure that properties are safe, honest and fast to purchase, giving leverage to property buyers, sellers, real estate agents, financial institutions, and also policy makers as well.
