Research on software update management system based on UN R156 regulation and CMMI model

With the rapid development of information technology, software products have become an indispensable tool in the automotive industry, and with the continuous update and iteration of software products, software upgrade has also become an important means to ensure software stability and meet user needs. UN/ WP.29 R156 clearly requires enterprises to establish a software upgrade management system. Based on the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) model, this paper aims to deeply discuss the construction and application of software upgrade management system, so as to improve the efficiency, quality and security of software upgrade. By building a software upgrade management system and applying it in actual software upgrade activities, the management efficiency of the enterprise is improved by nearly 60%, and the success rate of the update is increased by about 25%.
